Getting to Park Shore Resort: Airports, Directions & Arrival Tips

Getting to Park Shore Resort is simpler than most guests expect. Here’s everything you need to know about airports, driving directions, and what to plan for on arrival day, so you can spend less time thinking about logistics and more time thinking about the beach.

Your Best Airport Option

Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers is the closest major airport, roughly 40 minutes from Park Shore Resort depending on traffic. It’s served by most major domestic carriers and several international routes, making it the easiest entry point for the vast majority of our guests.

An Alternative Worth Knowing

Naples Municipal Airport (APF) is much closer — just minutes away — but primarily serves private and charter flights rather than commercial airlines. For most travelers, RSW remains the practical choice, but if you’re flying privately, APF puts you right on our doorstep.

Renting a Car (Recommended)

While you can absolutely enjoy a beach-and-pool stay at Park Shore Resort without a car, we recommend renting one if you plan to explore Naples’ restaurants, Venetian Bay, or the wider Southwest Florida area. Car rental counters are available directly at RSW, and the drive down is a straightforward, mostly highway route.

Arrival Day Tips

Florida traffic can pick up during winter’s peak season, so build in a little extra time if you’re arriving on a Friday or Saturday. Check-in details, including lockbox or key pickup instructions, will be sent ahead of your stay — keep an eye on your email or messages a few days before arrival.

Once You’re Here

Park Shore Resort’s location means that once you’ve arrived, you genuinely don’t need to get back in the car often. The beach, Venetian Bay, and a wide range of restaurants are all within easy reach, and the resort’s own 13 acres give you plenty to explore without leaving the property at all.
